Knowing the family history around hand injuries, we should pool our money together and get Capt. Punctuation one of these for Christmas.

I just finished watching “It Might Get Loud.” Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White get together and discuss the guitar and describe some of their early experiences.   At one point Page stands up and plays the intro to “Whole Lotta Love” and you can see both The Edge and White turn into awestruck little boys.    

Music has always been a part of our lives.  Sure we watched a lot of T.V. growing up but it was music that kept us grooving during chores or entertained in the car (this was before radio was more commercial than music).  Sometimes we got to experience those special moments when you and a friend/stranger/group all ‘sing’ together, usually off key, and forever link that moment or situation to that song.  I have always been drawn to songs that tell an interesting story and subsequently spending way too much time researching the true events behind the lyrics or interpreting the meaning.   Tangled up in Blue - Bob Dylan I used to have these lyrics on my bedroom wall.  This was before we had the luxury of the internet and had to actually listen, pause, write, listen, pause, write, rewind, listen, rewind, listen, pause, write….cont. Ok so here is the story, just to set things straight. The first part of the story is already documented here :   Following this conversation my Co-Workers decided it would be funny to put pictures of unicorns all over my cube. There must have been at least 20 different pictures of pink unicorns and various unicorn accessories (purses, slippers, etc.) lining the top of my cubicle.   I thought it was funny and we had a good laugh, until the next week when they noticed that I still hadn’t taken down the pictures.   “Um,…Are you going to take those down? I took BiblioChild1 to the optometrist to updated his prescription and replace his misshapen and scratched glasses.   I’m still not sure how the kid was able to see out of these things as they look like he dropped them on a slice of peperoni pizza, tried to clean the lenses with a tiny Dremel and sat on them in frustration before putting them back on his face.   He was doing a good job working through the various tests, answering the questions from the Doc as best he can. “Which is clearer option 1 or option 2?” “Option 2 or option 3?” “Option 3 or option 4?” “Option 2 or option 3?” Ad nauseam The Doc then pulls out a color test where BiblioChild1 has to identify the number hidden within a bunch of colored dots.   The boy flies through this test with no problem and is starting to get bored.   I did what I normally do to break the monotony and tried to lighten the mood. “I’m not sure if this is relevant or not but BiblioWife has been telling me for years that I’m ...
